Pixxures in telecom locating deal – Denver Business Journal
Arvada-based Pixxures Inc. and Orlando, Fla.-based GeoTel will provide customers with a system to determine where telecommunications services are available with an online mapping system.
Through an exclusive agreement, the two companies have overlaid GeoTel’s information about where cell towers, central offices, Internet exchanges and fiber optics are located with aerial photography provided by Pixxures.
Customers will be able to access the image library from the Pixxures Web site at http://www.pixxures.com or the GeoTel site at http://www.geo-tel.com. Users can also link the information directly to their own Internet and intranet sites through a subscription service.
The companies are targeting real estate, oil and gas, insurance and telecommunications industries with this product.
