Fiber Routes

Carrier fiber route data in a digitized GIS mapping format provides valuable insight into the telecommunications infrastructure landscape across the United States. The data set is layered onto the highest quality digital street maps available or on aerial imagery for enhanced study. Over 575 carriers in more than 6,000 U.S. Cities are included with additional markets and carriers continuously added. Access to the fiber route data set allows the user to locate metro or long haul fiber network maps quickly and efficiently within a GIS format or GeoTel’s web portal TeleTracker. See map for the metro areas (CBSA’s) that GeoTel covers.
