Metro Fiber Maps

The telecommunications infrastructure data set contains metro fiber maps digitized in GIS for cities in the United States. The data set is digitized and layered onto the highest quality streets data available, or on aerial imagery for enhanced study. Over 350 carriers in more than 5,000 U.S. Cites are included with additional markets and carriers added semi-annually. An excellent data set that enables the user to locate lit, dark or long haul fiber quickly and efficiently within a GIS or web based environment. See map for the metro areas (CBSA’s) that GeoTel Covers.
