GeoTel’s TeleTracker is an easy-to-use, next generation web-based service designed with the same cutting-edge technology and vast dataset library enjoyed by our traditional GIS customers. Compared to our full-scale services, TeleTracker allows our clients to research fiber network maps in a simpler fashion. This means you no longer have to have GIS experience to utilize our maps, which include fiber maps, fiber optic network maps, fiber lit building maps and other GIS products.
TeleTracker incorporates geo-spatial and relational databases without dependency on traditional GIS software or expensive street data bases and therefore eliminates the high costs associated with traditional GIS platforms. Organizations will no longer have to provide:

With TeleTracker, clients can search maps, based on addresses, cities, states and regions, to locate and analyze telecom infrastructure data in a single online platform. At GeoTel, we are dedicated to keeping the most up-to-date data sets. TeleTracker uses 14 telecommunication data sets and access to over 1,000 other data sets, which are regularly updated to ensure our clients always have the most current data at their fingertips.
The online platform behind TeleTracker means that the power lies in your hands. With the click of a mouse, you can view expansive areas, such as entire metro networks or long-haul fiber networks, or zoom in and analyze more precise detail, such as individual data centers and fiber lit buildings. Additionally, TeleTracker allows for analysis of a particular area. Draw a radius and quickly you are provided with all the fiber data for buildings, networks, data centers and cell towers in that location.
These maps feature more than just telecom data; they also incorporate demographic data, digital elevation and 3D models. TeleTracker has multiple layers of data that allow for customizable searches. This makes it simple to search for specific data and include or exclude any particular layer at any given time.
With TeleTracker you can click on many different types of data, one being a fiber lit building and view a long list of attributes including carrier, address, LATA, CBSA, longitude and latitude. With this level of information, you can see which carrier provides service to a certain building or data center. If a building is dark, our maps allow you to view what fiber routes, along with carrier name, run along nearby streets.
TeleTracker’s maps go further than just showing a metro network path or long-haul network. With TeleTracker, each carrier is differentiated with colored lines, allowing you to distinguish which providers follow the same path.
For projects that require you to determine the fiber distance between two points, TeleTracker features measuring capabilities. This helps you produce reports that calculate distance anywhere from miles all the way down to feet.
With our web interface, you receive many of the essential user capabilities found in our GIS software. With TeleTracker, you can save your reports to access later or print your maps to use at a business presentation, conference or investor meeting.
TeleTracker runs off of dedicated servers which are collocated in data centers, load balanced, and encrypted with an average uptime of 99 %. Working from HTTPS when logging in, TeleTracker provides security without hindering performance.
