TeleTracker Overview

GeoTel’s TeleTracker is an easy-to-use, next generation web-based service designed with the same cutting-edge technology and vast dataset library enjoyed by our traditional GIS customers. Compared to our full-scale services, TeleTracker allows our clients to research fiber network maps in a simpler fashion. This means you no longer need to have GIS experience to utilize our maps, which include: fiber maps, fiber lit building maps, and other telecom infrastructure products.

With TeleTracker, clients can search maps based on: addresses, cities, states, and regions, to locate and analyze telecommunication infrastructure data in a single online platform. At GeoTel, we are dedicated to keeping the most up-to-date data sets, regularly updated to ensure our clients always have the most current data at their fingertips. TeleTracker employs 15 telecommunication data sets, infrastructure details, and a selection of basemaps to provide clients with the tools for comprehensive analysis for location based decision-making.

{DaaS} Data as a Service

TeleTracker is a Data as a Service Product, and contains telecommunications infrastructure data readily accessible via a web based online subscription platform.

Features

TeleTracker incorporates geo-spatial and relational databases without dependency on traditional GIS software or expensive street data bases and therefore eliminates the high costs associated with traditional GIS platforms. Organizations will no longer have to provide:

GIS software licenses and maintenance

Server hardware, software, hosting, & maintenance

Database development, maintenance, & administration

Employee training and support

Street data licenses and updates

This also provides access and use of valuable data to multiple departments of the business such as Marketing, Sales, Engineering, etc… TeleTracker gives organizations the tools, data, and platform to quickly make intelligent data-driven decisions.

The online platform behind TeleTracker means that the power lies in your hands. With the click of a mouse, you can view expansive areas, such as entire metro networks or long-haul fiber networks, or zoom in and analyze more precise detail, such as individual data centers and fiber lit buildings. Additionally, TeleTracker allows for analysis of a particular area. Draw a radius and you are quickly provided with all the fiber data for buildings, networks, data centers, and cell towers within that radius.

For projects that require you to determine the fiber distance between two points, TeleTracker features measuring capabilities. This helps you produce reports that calculate distance anywhere from miles all the way down to feet.

With our web interface, you receive many of the essential user capabilities found in GIS software. With TeleTracker, you can save your reports to access later or print your maps to use at a business presentation, conference, or investor meeting.
