Cell Towers

GeoTel provides cell tower locations from over approximately 366,000 cell tower sites. Cell tower location data allows users to find readily-leased wireless facilities (towers, rooftops, water tanks, raw land, billboards, etc.) to deploy or fill-in cellular, PCS, WiMAX, LMDS, MMDS, and other wireless coverage.

Cell tower locations infrastructure data set includes site ID, name, description, location, ground elevation, company name, FCC ASR number, FAA study number, tower type, and status.

Tower information and 3D-mapping capabilities will allow users to determine “line-of-sight” projections. By incorporating additional telecommunications data such as fiber route data, users can locate fiber in and around a wireless tower or facility. Government agencies, consultancies, and managers of communications infrastructure leverage the cell tower data set to examine existing and potential service areas.
